The Primal Challenge: 30 Days to Rebuild Your Discipline

Most people don’t get stuck in their fitness journey because they’re missing some secret tactic. They get stuck because the baseline habits aren’t locked in with enough discipline.

You can’t just “decide” to be disciplined. Discipline is a muscle, and like any muscle, it needs to be trained. That’s why we’re launching the Primal Challenge on October 1st—30 days of strict rules designed to sharpen your discipline and reset your baseline.

This isn’t about hacks, loopholes, or looking for the easy way out. It’s about putting yourself in an environment where excuses can’t survive.


The Rules

Starting October 1st, for 30 days, here’s what’s required:

  • Eat only meat. Eggs are allowed.
  • Up to two servings of fruit per day (to break the monotony).
  • Seasonings allowed: salt, pepper, and other zero-calorie spices.
  • Cooking fats: beef tallow only.
  • No sugar. No alcohol. No hacks.
  • Drinks: water and black coffee only.
  • 10,000 steps per day outside of workouts (your training steps don’t count).
  • Strength train at least 3 days per week.
  • Sleep 7+ hours per night. That means going to bed at least 7 hours before your alarm is set.

If any part of this list makes you hesitate, that’s all the more reason to commit.


Why This Matters

This is not a forever diet. It’s 30 days of sharpening the blade.

On the nutrition side, eating only meat and high protein for 30 days can:

  • Reduce bloating and inflammation.
  • Improve insulin sensitivity.
  • Ease joint pain.
  • Strip away the “noise” of ultra-processed foods so you learn what your body feels like running clean.

On the lifestyle side, the added movement, strength training, and sleep minimums reset the pillars of health that busy lives often push aside.

While this isn’t a “weight-loss challenge,” don’t be surprised if your body sheds fat, your energy levels rise, and you feel better than you have in months.
